Challenge: SAP Implementation and Registry Cleanup with CH Master Data | Astrein

During the implementation of SAP ERP, the Comporte Group faced the challenge of unifying and cleaning up supplier and customer records from various companies within the group.

To ensure a clean and reliable base on the new management platform, the Group hired CH Master Data | Astrein in December 2016, with the mission of processing approximately 28,362 records.

Project Scope

Cleansing and standardization of supplier and customer data based on information from the Federal Revenue Service and state Sintegra, validated by the CH Master Data | Astrein quality team.

Fields treated:

  • Business Name, Trade Name

  • Full address (street, number, complement, neighborhood, city, state and zip code)

  • CNAE, legal nature

  • Tax regime (Simples Nacional)

  • Activity start date

  • Registration status and respective date

Technical and fiscal adjustments :

  • Elimination of special characters

  • Standardization according to Post Office standards

  • Applying capital letters to descriptions

  • Compliance with standards: Cotepe Acts 9 and 22 and IN SRFB 787

  • Final database with 26,207 active and cleaned records

  • Elimination of 2,155 records with inconsistencies and duplicates

  • Exclusion of 70 invalid CNPJs and 541 companies with cancelled, unfit or suspended registrations
